My name is Otis!

Hi, I'm Otis… the mascot dog for the 2010 Waggy Walks

Unfortunately, I had an unhappy beginning to life. My original owner bred lots of puppies just to sell us and make money. As I wasn't given all the special food, medication and love that I needed, I ended up with a condition that makes me go pink and swell up and I promise you, it's not a pretty sight! Because of this illness I was thrown onto the street.

But this sad story has a happy ending - Dogs Trust saved me and gave me lots of love, care and veterinary treatment to make me feel special again! And I've met so many other four legged friends who also didn't have a great start to life but luckily Dogs Trust makes sure they are happy and healthy for the rest of their days!
